 Click on this link http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/.

 Once the web page has loaded scroll down until you see the heading “Ad-Aware SE Personal”      and click on the link for “Download.com”. (Figure 1.1)

Note: If this link does not work, then you can choose a different one from below this heading to download the ad-aware program from.

 You should now be at Download.com, where there should be a link that says “Download Now”. Click on this link. (Figure 1.2)

 A new window will be brought up. Click on the button labeled “Save to Disk”, then click on the OK button. (Figure 1.3)

 Once the download is completed, double click on the downloaded program icon. (This will be located on your hard drive where you chose to save to.)

 Click on the box for “I accept the license agreement and then click on the next button. (Figure 1.5)

 Click on the button for “Anyone who uses this computer”, and then click on the Next button. (Figure 1.7)

 After ad-aware has updated, and completed a scan, you should see a blinking bug icon if ad-aware has detected any spyware. Click on the Show Logfile button. (Figure 1.10)

 You are now finished running Ad-aware for the first time and can close the program.

 Run the program. Once at the opening screen click on the Check For Current Updates Now button in the lower right corner. (Figure Ex. 1)

 If the program finds any updates to download, select to download them and then click on the OK button once this is finished. (Figure Ex. 3)
